i spent my green holiday watching movies that may or may not have had the color green in them.

yesterday morning i got a call from my friend inviting me to go see radiohead with her that night. apparently, her boss bought her 4 tickets but forgot to mention it till the morning of the show. the concert was amazing even if we needed oxygen masks we were up so high... but i wont complain because the tickets were free.

i will leave you with 3 videos from the show that night... obviously taken from youtube... remember we needed oxygen masks for where we were sitting.

p.s. aren't those visuals trippy... i am sure they were even cooler looking for the people on drugs... which was not me.

it is hard to avoid shopping when all your pants start to get holes in the crotch. something, that made me think breaking the rules a little wouldn't hurt. i mean... who wants to see that action going on. so i shopped. but something i have learned is i can go into a store and come out with only the things i need and not want... for the most part. i did splurge a little and pick up some fun pants but i justified them and here is how...

i really LOVED these pants i saw in the anthropologie catalog that came in the mail. but i can not afford nor justify spending close to $200 dollars on them. i am a poor college student that has to buy food and gas and pay rent and all that fun stuff.

and than i found these gems at h&m for a whopping $14.95. i needed pants... these are pants... and i can defiantly afford less than $20.00 on jeans. so these have made their way into my pink dresser and i am once again a happy girl... with no holes in the crotches of pants.

i bought this pretty little thing with my REI credit from finally returning (thanks dad) my 5 finger shoes i got a couple years ago for christmas.

this little fellow is big enough to fit a bladder, clothes, and lots of snacks for day hikes.

i think he will be the perfect companion for the death march 2

natural curls

i found a technique that makes me crazy curls a little less curly

i spray my damp hair with a homemade salt spray. i then twist six chunks of hair and pin across my head. once the hair is dry i take out the bobby pins and separate the twists.

then i rock my curly hair like there is no tomorrow.

since my head injury i had lacked much of a appetite. however, i got a craving for some tortillas and decided to make some at home off a recipe from cooks.com

they were quick to make, quick to eat, and quick to clean up.

i started spring break a day and a half early...

tuesday we had a crazy day with lots of wind. when i was getting something out of my trunk the wind slammed it shut on my head. it was a different feeling but i brushed it off. thursday, i noticed i had constricted pupils, headache, nauseous, and funky vision. i called donita and she took me to the ER and dad met us there. the doctor was sure i just had a concussion but i had to get a cat scan to be sure. it came back clean so the doctor said tylenol, water, and rest was all i needed.

the good news...

he said i would be fine to still go to the grand canyon on monday!!
